School's Out For Summer

Well, actually its only out for 4 days for me. I finished my last final around 7:00 PM on Friday night, and my first summer class is Wednesday at Noon. And I am working everyday at 9 AM...So really I had the weekend off...sigh

Oh well. The spring semester is over at least. I had some really annoying classes and I'm glad to be done with them. I think I learned less this semester then I did first semester Freshman year. Luckily Statics is the only thing that I will need for any more classes, and that's the one I learned the most in.

Over the summer I am taking Dynamics and Mechanics of Materials, which doesn't sound like its going to be a lot of fun. Classes over the summer seem to be more relaxing though, so I have that going for me..which is nice.

In the fall I will be taking Mechanics Lab, Design of Machine Elements, Internal Combustion Engines. Kinematics and Dynamics of Machines, and Intro to Senior Projects. It is going to be a hard semester. But I'm just about to reach the final stretch of classes, so it doesn't bother me at all. In 3 more semesters I should be out of here. I'm planning on getting my Masters in Mechanical Engineering here if I can afford to. For my 4 Tech Electives I am taking Graduate courses. That way, when I finish with my BSME I'll have 12-14 out of 30 credits already done for my Masters.

But anyways, back to summer. The roommates moved home already till school starts up again. Right now Rito is staying with me till he finds a place to live. I am continuing to work in the Advancement Office on campus Full time over the summer. It's just too convenient to want to go anywhere else.

Southfield already seems pretty boring though, with most people moved back home for the summer. I will more then likely spend most of my weekends back downriver. That pretty much means Chris, Sean, and myself will be going to the bars in downtown Wyandotte. During the day I can picture Josh and I playing Nintendo or StarCraft all day. I'm also sure there will be many Dirt-Mall runs, just to laugh at the people there and buy all the useless crap we never need.
